Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using NEWBL KataGo Baduk, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service and Plans

The service provides Go/Baduk gameplay, AI move suggestions, position analysis, and kifu saving and review features. Some features may be available for free with usage limits, while others may be available through a paid subscription such as an annual unlimited access plan. The operator may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature when needed for operation, maintenance, security, or reliability.

3. Paid Subscription

Paid subscriptions are billed through the applicable app marketplace, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices, currencies, taxes, and localized billing conditions are shown in the applicable store listing at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated in the store flow, an annual subscription renews automatically for successive annual periods until canceled.

4. Billing, Cancellation, and Refunds

Charges are made to your store account at confirmation of purchase and on each renewal date according to the rules of the applicable store. To avoid the next renewal charge, you must cancel through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings before the renewal takes effect. If you cancel, you can usually continue to use paid benefits until the end of the current paid period unless the applicable store or mandatory law provides otherwise.

Refunds, billing disputes, and charge reversals for store-billed purchases are generally handled under the policies and procedures of the applicable store and any mandatory consumer protection law. If a payment is declined, reversed, refunded, or cannot be verified, the operator may suspend or remove paid access.

5. Price and Service Changes

The operator may change subscription prices, plan benefits, or availability when reasonably necessary. Where required, notice will be provided through the applicable store, the service, or both before the change takes effect. If a store requires your consent to a price increase and you do not consent, your subscription may expire at the end of the current billing cycle.

6. User Responsibilities

• You must comply with applicable laws and these terms.
• You must not interfere with the service, overload it, or disrupt another user's access.
• You must not attempt unauthorized access, circumvention, reverse engineering, scraping, or excessive automated requests.

7. AI Output

AI move suggestions and position analysis are provided for reference only. The operator does not warrant that AI output is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

8. Intellectual Property

The service interface, code, and documents are owned by the operator or their respective rights holders. KataGo engine and neural network rights are governed by the notices and licenses of their respective copyright holders.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damages arising from use of, inability to use, interruption of, or reliance on the service, except where caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

10. Changes

The operator may update these terms when necessary. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
